Message from Dean Lundquist:
Golfers,
As some of you may already know, our club has purchased the premium version of the Golf Genius tournament software.
One of its many benefits includes the ability to have live scoring. Going forward, we will be using this feature in every tournament.
One person per group will input scores via their mobile phone after each hole. In order to access your playing group on the app, you will need to input your group's GGID printed on your scorecard. I will have our webmaster post an excellent guide to using the Golf Genius app created by our friend Pat Collins at the Buena Senior Men's Golf Club. If you haven't already downloaded the app, the links are below.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
1. Players must be active members of the VMGC.
2. Players will pay the full playing fees for both days (Saturday and Sunday) on the Saturday.
3. Play the golf ball down. No winter rules.
4. Hole out all putts.
5. On Holes 2 and 8 with the temporary greens, a maximum of two putts is allowed.
6. For those entering the President’s Cup or the Vice-President’s Cup championship:
a. The entry fee is $10 payable to the Tournament Director.
b. You must be able to play Sunday morning on August the 23rd. Please do not enter the competition if you can't play on that date.
